Was American anti-communism a realistic threat to our freedom or simply a threat our postwar economic hegemony abroad? Make sure you give examples to back up your rationale. I'm putting a 48 hour time limit on this one and then we will switch to a new one! Enjoy!

The Few, The Proud, The Meyersblawggers!

Well kids, this is it. The new and improved Meyersblawg. And like that retro-cool fashion jacket of the 80s, it's "Members Only." As such, I think all y'all should be the first to suggest the first topic. Here are the parameters:

a. School appropriate: No legalizing drugs, or insulting language!

b. Open-ended: Make it a topic which allows dialogue (notice I said dialogue, not argument!!)

c. Cold War-related: This gives you a 50 year window, so c'mon, be creative!

d. Refrain from "counter-culture" at this point: We'll be covering the hippies later- I promise!
